The best rainbow of the week weighed 10lb 6oz and was taken by Colin Johnson from a boat near the Island. Colin used a Green Diawl Bach on a floater.
Methods taking most fish include White lures such as Zonkers and Minkies. Floating or very slow sink lines are best. Fish are close to the banks in shallow water – good news for the bank angler.
