Terry Easey of Cambridge landed the best fish of the week – a super 10lb 6oz rainbow.  Terry is a season ticket holder and he used a Green Booby and an intermediate line to take the fish from the bank.

Boat anglers are making the most of the last few days of boat fishing, which ends on 25 November. Season ticket holder Peter Proctor from Leighton Buzzard and his friend Mr King had a good day catching 10 fish and returning four.  Mr King from Cambridge had two rainbows at 6lb 6oz and 6lb 12oz.  Dave Kennell of Nuneaton also had a good bag of fish on minkies including rainbows of 5.5lb and 4.5lb.

Best area is the Main Bowl. Minkies, Black and Green Lures on intermediates (or when using the rudder Tube Flies) are the best methods.

Bank fishing is improving with Pitsford Creek and the Pines being the favoured areas.  Small lures and Minkies on floating or intermediate lines are catching the fish from the bank.  The season for bank anglers continues until 31 December with day tickets available from the self-service kiosk at the entrance to the lodge after 26 November.
