fish for week 320 (season 1853)  returns 79 (367) rod average 4.05 (5.05)

Bill Osbourne of Daventry took the best rainbow of the week – a super 11lb 8oz rainbow.  Bill was boat fishing near the island area and used a floating line with a size 12 red buzzer.  His boat partner Eric Watson hooked an overwintered rainbow estimated at 12lb 8oz.  Eric returned this fish safely to the water. The pair had 25 fish to the boat.

Tim Strachan of Cannock took a rainbow of 10lb 8oz from a boat on a fast sinking line with a cats whisker.  Tim had a total of 21 fish.  Tim’s boat partner, Terry Walford, had 12 fish to a cats whisker and damsel.  Season ticket angler, David Hine, from Leighton Buzzard, had rainbows of 5lb 6oz and 6lb 3oz using a floater and a red size 12 buzzer from platform 4.
