ENGLAND YOUTH TEAM WEEKEND TAL Y LLYN

The 2008 Youth International match in 2008 will be fished on Lough Conn in County Mayo, Ireland. The England Youth team enjoyed a very successful training weekend on Ullswater in May. For most of the team this was their first experience of wild brown trout fishing and all of the team caught fish.
To build on the experience the whole England team, together with officials and families, fished the stunningly beautiful Tal y Llyn lake on 14th and 15th June. Once again large numbers of fish were taken and the boys' skill and experience was increased. England Coach Phil Dixon said 'These lads are so keen to learn and very talented. They have become accomplished anglers for brownies and will now go for gold in Ireland'.
Attached is a shot of Devon's Tom Davies with a superb brown trout of 8lb (not caught in the 'pets' area!)
