No - this doesn't refer to my ability to hook salmon.
Yesterday, the Lodge was struck by lightning which knocked out our digital phone system completely. This means that both our phone & fax numbers are out of action at present,
and even though you hear it ringing when you try to call - you won't get through. It's bad timing, as there are a lot of people getting in contact to book for the coming season.
September is filling fast, and there's a lot more interest in spring fishing and of course
the early summer as we go into our second season with no drift nets.
Obviously, our email is still working as we are on satellite broadband connection not land-line.
Email, mobile phone or Skype are the only way to contact us until probably early next week.
We are promised by the phone company that it will be repaired on Monday but...................!
Don't forget to keep an eye on the Fishing Report page if you have a password.
A good flood hit the river this morning which should help to get the kelts out of the river
and encourage the first of the spring run to move in in the run-up to Opening Day on February 1st.
Best Regards & Tight Lines!
