The Countdown begins!

Best Wishes for a Happy, Prosperous, Peaceful & above all Fishy New Year

from Ian, Glenda, Anna & Ian Junior.

As 2007 ends, it is now time to look forward to the new season.

Our New Year Wishes:
- Good conditions in the Spring, so that we see the improvement in the spring run that has been apparent in recent years but masked by the flood in February & March last year.
- Better river conditions than the exceptionally low level we had from April to June 2007 so that the grilse and large May fish can run in unhindered by drift nets as go into our second season since the nets were banned.
- As many fish running as there were from July to September 2007.
- Above all – Health, Happiness & Prosperity to all our friends and guests.

May you find the time to come and fish with us in 2008?

Fishing Report Page
I’ll be starting to update the page from tomorrow - January 1st., 2008 - with rainfall & river height & condition in the run-up to Opening Day on February 1st.

Opening Day - February 1st.
This year it falls on a Friday. As usual, we’ll be gathering at the Lodge for complimentary breakfast rolls & coffee
before heading out in eager anticipation to the river for the first time in four months.
Please note that the Lodge ensuite rooms are fully booked on February 1 & 2, as is the Underhand casting course with Thomas Berggren (Loop) from Sweden. Accommodation is still available in bungalow rooms

Bookings for 2008
With the superb results from this year, and the prices being maintained at the 2007 level,
bookings are coming in at an unprecedented level for the 2008 season. Why not avail of our excellent offer of a 1% discount per month for bookings paid in full in advance. Many of our regular visitors already booked their places before they left this year, so don't delay to ensure your place.

Best Regards & Tight Lines!
