Christmas News from Carsington for 2008

There will be more improvements to our fantastic water for next year including more boats and more engines. We have also opened up Millfields Bay to boat fishing for the new season and have high hopes that this will become a top fishing area! We will continue to improve our stocking policy throughout the season and you can look forward to catching some absolutely cracking fish next year! We have also installed a man overboard alarm system into our life jackets so you will be as safe on Carsington Water as we can make it for you.

We also have dates in for some competitions for 2008:

For all our Trout Masters Badge winners form 2007 the Trout Masters Carsington Water Heat will be held on Thursday April 10th

The Carsington Water Heat of the Individual Lexus European Fly Fishing Championship will be held on Tuesday 22nd April

We will, again, be holding our Open Day Charity match for the England Ladies Fly Fishing Association and their Cancer Charity "Casting for Recovery". This is likely to be late August. Date to be confirmed.

We will also be holding a Charity Match for Severn Trent Water's chosen charity "WaterAid". This will be in Early Oct, again the date is to be confirmed.
