EVENING JOY AT GRAFHAM FOR MICK LOY....
EVENING JOY AT GRAFHAM FOR MICK LOY....

                     GRAFHAMS RICH FORM CONTINUES..

Peterborough based angler Mick Loy, took full advantage of UK Flyfishers news on Grafhams big fish bonanza posted on Monday 2nd of September.

Mick visited Grafhams lodge front last night (Thursday 5th September) in search of these big browns that have been feeding relentlessly on the fry  there. He was not disappointed !

Using a home made tube fly (tied by Bill Mcillroy) and a DI-3 sinking line Mick caught six brown trout between 3.5lb and 8lb, returning four of his catch. Mick Told UK Flyfisher "You could see the fish swimming around the rocks, right under your feet. I saw one well into double figures, just picking off the dead roach fry."

The hot spot is the stone island on the right of the boat dock. The fry are thick here and are concentrating around the edges and the boom.

With the news spreading fast, an early arrival is expected over the weekend to get on the spot.

See you there….
