Grafham Water held the annual match between the England teams, CEFF, ELFFA, EYFFA, and EDFF on Sunday 12th August.
With reports of the fishing being difficult, many anglers started on floating lines and nymphs. The main areas fished were J buoy, F Buoy and I buoy to the Dam.
Craig Barr was the first to bag up, finishing at 2.40pm. With the National final looming, Craig was a little reluctant to share his tactics, although both pulling and nymphing proved productive.
Dave Hodgson was top individual, with 8 fish for 17lb. Dave was using nymphs on a midge tip, drifting in open water. England and world team member Simon Robinson took five fish drifting near to I buoy. Simon was pulling blobs on a slime line.
RESULTS:
1) CEFF
2) EYFFA
3) EDFF
4) ELFFA
