Fulling Mill successfully launched their new World Class Copolymer to the trade at the annual Tackle & Guns exhibition held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, last weekend. The Surrey based company took massive early orders from dealers for the new product that will be in stores and available to the public early next year. The copolymer will be available on 50 metre spools with a line retainer, and come in 2.21-14.80lb strengths. “The new copolymer tippet material is exceptional, and I could sit and admire the new range of flies all day,” said MD Barry Unwin. “My particular favourite however is our new Pioneer fly rod, and although we have won awards in the past, I believe that this particular model is probably the best fly rod we have ever produced.” In addition the company unveiled a massive collection of over 320 new and updated fly patterns for the 2007 season including contributions from many of the worlds top fly dressers and fly fishermen. Snowbee (UK) also was rolling out a new product, a full cassette for their very popular XS fly reel that will also fit existing XS reels. This will be of great interest to competition anglers as the spools should retail at about £8 when they are released to the public early in the New Year. UK Flyfisher sneaked a picture of the reel, cassette and spool, and will post details on the site early next week.
