With the River Almond at summer level and excellent clarity, now is a good time to fish beat 2 for the Brownies.
A week of very low tides is expected, so it is doubtful that there will be a significant run of Seatrout. Next week however will be a differant story.
High tide on Monday is timed at 13:28pm and should be at a height of 5.62 metres. These tides will continue through until the 18th of April.
Fishing these tides is highly recommended, and as the tide should reach the carpark pool it should encourage fish into the system. If rain puts in an appearance in the next week or so, this will produce and ideal April for Seatrout fishing.
